Lean Tooling in Action

This program will show you case studies from four companies who have successfully implementedÿlean tooling, plus learn specifically what you can do to be more like those companies. First you will see lean tooling at Lee Blake Precision Machining and see how they've integrated lean tooling into their daily work practices, saving a tremendous amount of time and money. Then you will see Eaton Aerospace and find out how the 5S system and visual controls were used as they implemented lean tooling. Next we visit K&A Machine & Tool, where a kanban system was used to control tooling insert usage. And lastly, at Classic Turning, you'll see how employees are solving tooling and changeover problems through teamwork and continuous improvement.
